As it is a stock android and contains in built live wallpapers, G-cam, google assistant. Apart from that we can do ton of customization from its setting. The most interesting fact about this rom is that it is supported by custom-ui devices like samsung, ASUS, LG, Xiomi and many more.

Some key features it has:

2. Lineage OS

So the another biggest rival in this race is the lineageOS. Just to brief you little about its history, before lineageOS there was a cyanogenMod. It was similar to lineageOS but it was shut down due to some internal conflicts between team members and then a bunch of developers were fired and soon the CEO also stepped down. So this project was completely shut down.

To proceed with supporting cyanogen project, a number of the developers, designers, device maintainers and translators produced a fork of the CyanogenMod source code and pending patches and transferred all of the attributes to LineageOS.  No doubt the lineage os has inherited the cutting edge feature from its ancestor cyanogenMod.

3. AOSP Extended

Well AOSP extended as the name suggest is an open source rom which contains cherry pick commits from various developers. It also makes your desire to own a pixel device. This rom is available for many devices including OnePlus, Samsung, LG, Xiaomi, Motorola and Asus devices. This rom is based on Lineage OS.

This rom comes pre-rooted and hence it saves your time from rooting the device. When you first time boot up your device, your are welcomed with the pixel launcher. Just same feel as you get on real pixel devices. The development of this rom is highly active and hence provide you with latest security patches and updates.

It contains lot of features which i can not list here so you can visit here and go through all the features.

4. crDroid

One of the other simple and best rom is crDroid. It is known for its speed and has become more powerful now days. Like other custom roms this rom also comes with latest android 10 version. This rom comes with pre-installed custom kernel known as Optimus drunk which is actually amazing with android 10 and helps running the device buttery smooth.
Similar to AOSP Extended, crDroid has an active development team and supports some of the old devices like Redmi Note 5 Pro, Poco F1, and more.
It also offers the same AOSP experience as it is also lineageOs based. In my experience with this rom, the battery life is just the same as stock rom but I was able to customize a few things here and there. So the CRUX of this is that crDroid it is a lineageOs but with added features and tweaks.

5. Havoc-OS

If i have to define this rom i will say that it reminds me of Resurrection Remix and Paranoid android. It is one of the first rom to successfully implement a truckload of features. No doubt it is still considered one of the stable rom. All you have to do is to use it for couple of days and feel it.
Like i already mentioned it takes customization to next level, from its material design to battery settings.

6. MSM Extended

This is another rom which is also based upon the AOSP source but adding own tweaks and mods made this rom MSM extended. Although it was a newly launched project which came into notice after the launch of android pie.

This rom is quite similar to Oxygen OS and brings ton of customization which will feels you overwhelmed. This rom is updated with Android 10 recently and now the developers are even trying to get their hands dirty with Android 11.

7. Evolution X

Have you heard of Resurrection remix, the most popular rom earlier days? Well i must say that Evolution X is the stable version this rom. This is because of the large number of customization features it offers, and it does so without compromising with the stability of the rom.
Evolution X has its own bar for customization where you can make system level changes. It gives us Android 10 gesture straight out of the box. You can further have glimpse of its features in details on their official website here.

8. Arrow OS

If you are looking for the rom which is stable and also provide those features only which are essential for the user then you are good to go with this rom. Although it is based on AOSP project and feels like pixel rom but it provides bare-bone features.
Other Arrow OS features are  custom dialer, custom Quick Settings tiles, lock screen shortcuts, Privacy Guard, and more. The Arrow OS project offers simple and minimal features that end up resulting in a clean and neat interface, that can further be customized if the user wants to.

9. Bliss Rom

Al the same in it self tells a lot, this rom is also packed with such feature that gives you happy user experience. It not only develops Roms for smartphones but also for tablets and windows devices like surface pro. Talking about user experience it comes with a customized launcher and desktop mode.

Apart from including certain mod/tweaks to the customizability and functionality, this rom vastly enhances the overall visual look of the device. It contains separate settings panel called Blissify from where you can change almost everything. Right from themes to animation and lock screen interface. I would say if you want to try something different, do give a shot at Bliss ROM.

10. Paranoid android

Paranoid Android is an open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. In between its development was halted but now it is back with even more cool features (like undertaker coming back from death 😁😁).
